Shackle Washer

The Shackle Washer is an automatic cleaning system designed to wash poultry processing shackles continuously as they travel through the washing section of the processing line. Regular shackle cleaning is important for maintaining hygienic conditions and reducing the accumulation of blood, tissue, feathers and other processing residues.

The machine uses controlled water spraying to provide effective cleaning coverage around the moving shackles. Its construction in AISI 304L low-carbon stainless steel and food-grade POM and PA66 components is designed to withstand frequent washing and the demanding wet environment of a poultry processing plant.

The Shackle Washer can be positioned directly within the processing line, allowing shackles to be cleaned continuously without requiring a separate manual washing operation. Its hygienic design, continuous operation and accessible construction support efficient sanitation and reliable daily production.
